Outfit Details:
Navy blue button back blouse: thrifted
Camel high waist midi skirt: (borrowed from The Store)
Fuzzy knit cardigan: pile sale
Leather fringe loafers: thrifted

I'm really sleepy right now and it's hard to type a coherent sentence so this post will be in bullet point format:

  • Excited that the back of this blouse is finally getting some attention. Those buttons are the best part and they never get seen!
  • Really into fuzzy sweaters for fall. Kicking myself for selling all of my mohair/ angora sweaters in the shop.
  • I don't know if any other style blogger person does this, but I personally like photographs to be taken in motion because they look more natural. So when I ask Grant to take a picture of my outfit I usually just walk around in front of him and he snaps away. This method produces maybe a few okay shots and A LOT of awful strange half faced photos of me about to blink.
  • Um. Just thought that you should know the above for whatever reason.
  • Goodnight!

  1. Oh man, the proportions of this are AMAZING. That skirt is so wonderful, I wish I had the height to rock it! I do the walking/moving around thing too, and it certainly does yield a whole lot of awkward and unusual poses, as well as some good ones.

  2. I really like this. And as far as motion photographs, I do the same thing with my tripod and remote and you're so right...for every 1 decent shot there are about 20 really ugly ones. I look over the photos and am just like "I really hope that other people do not see me in motion like this."

  3. On average I take about 30 outfit shots, in sets of 10 on a self timer. I'm lucky if I get 4 good shots ...

  5. Ooh the back of that top is so fun!
and yes, I like to move around too if someone is taking my photos for me, but usually I use my timer and a tripod so I have to stay still or time the movement perfectly

  9. totally and the motion really brings life to clothing. Like this skirt, you can see it swishing around. glad those buttons are getting some eye action. this whole ensamble is rather devine. Simple and sweet.

  10. Your hair. Still falling in love with it!! I am finding too many long hairs everywhere, I want to chop all mine off!! But sometimes I hide behind it...and I have awkward ears, I feel like my long hair softens that unfortunate biological blow...

Keep on the sweater hunt, love! The top and THAT SKIRRRT are amazing! And as always, loving dem loafers...

  14. You look lovely.

Yes, I ate a tortilla Espanola. But it is not one of my favorite dishes. It was not bad but only when I ate it with meet. for example with chorizo ala casa. :)
But I really loved gaspacho (great for hot weather), a sort of stew with tomato souce, and as I mentioned before the seafood also in tapas version.
