Simple and Stuff

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

Outfit Details:
 Beat up gray cardigan: thrifted
1970s tuxedo blouse: thrifted
Black jeggings: Target
Ancient high top converse (from when I was 13!): I have no idea where I got them

Now that the weather is cooling down a little expect to see me dress a little more boyishly. As much as I love wearing dresses and skirts, I think this is outfit is a more genuine representation of my personality. Comfortable and never too over the top.

Also, you probably can't tell bu the blouse I'm wearing is really great because of the details. The lining at the collar is actually this really nice velvet trim and the buttons are cut like a multifaceted gem so they sparkle a little when the light hits them. Definitely one of my favorite thrift finds.

Happy Friday!

  1. I love outfits like this. I love skirts and dresses too but comfy kind of grungish stuff is my favorite.

  2. Man, every now and then I get the urge to wear the chucks I used to wear every single day back in highschool. This outfit is probably my favorite fall outfit I've seen so far - so good!

  5. Yep, that pretty much sums up my style too, especially when it gets colder and layers are required. Well, maybe not where you live, but definitely over in these parts. I don't think I mentioned, your hair is the cutest. :) xo, Mary

  7. I personally always love your casual looks. If I had really thin legs I would probably live in jeans all the time! And the cardigan looks extra-cozy! That cardigan I bought from you last year is in London... I have to get it back!

  11. hi Ashley! I've been a big fan of your adventures and blog ever since I've laid eyes on it but am commenting for the first time. your outfit posts like this one are what put you on a level above the typical style blogs we encounter online. I love what you do and that you keep it real, and in a funny way your awesomeness makes me more proud of being a Southern California girl :P. keep up the great stuff!!

  14. Love this!! The slouchy grunge sleeves just look so cozy. I have to admit to living in my skinny jeans when I'm tired and it's a bit chilly. This is great inspiration to keep looking cute when going casual. I love your look what ever the occasion.

  20. you make me miss my high tops. I used to have 8 pairs of them between 3rd-9th grade before switching to low-tops (I only buy black and get new ones once i wear them out). ah.
