Outfit Details:
Wool hat: thrifted
1970s shift dress: altered and thrifted
Tights: Target
Leather loafers: thrifted

On Saturday, Grant and I spent the whole afternoon popping into dusty antique stores in Old Town Orange. Naturally, I brought my camera along (and let me tell you, it is tough taking photos in weirdly lit antique malls!) and took snaps of some things that caught my eye. So without further adieu...

So awesome. This is a little kid's 1930s dance costume. I want one!

In Poland, there is practically no such stores.

  5. how do you not buy all these things when you go thrifting? Like what goes through your head or how do you justify it? I can't stop buying everything lol. that little map of socal is awesome and that last dress is so nice. I totally would've bought both. I actually have a little toddler girls dress hanging on my wall because it was so pretty I couldn't just leave it at the store lol.

  8. Vintage shopping is fun, but I agree. It is hard to take quality photos under dim and weirdly lit lights. But I love all the stuff you took a photo of. Especially the polka dot dress in the bottom. xoxo

  9. Your dress and the picture of that last dress are two things I definitely want. How often do you go antiquing?! It seems like it's quite often - so jealous!

  10. I'm dying to see the rest of that 1930s dress! I love antiquing. It really is the most satisfying way to window shop, although I usually can't leave without buying at least two things. *sigh

  15. I really like your dress, the pattern and colours are great and I'm loving the shoes.

I love all the antiques photos, the kitchen containers and suitcases are particularly lovely, but my favourite was the cover of "Carlos and Maria" the little girl's supposedly traditional dress is hilarious, never seen anything like it and I'm spanish :)
